Eye-shadows are something which I don't use a lot since I have hooded eyes and any eye-makeup I do is hidden beneath my hoods. Also it takes so much effort and blending, blending and a little more blending.

But Slowly but surely I am trying out eye-shadow and learning how to use them well.I bought this one since this is matte, brown shade and can be used in multiple ways. So check out the review

My Review: This comes in a compact square plastic package. It is a single eye-shadow without any mirror or applicator. The shade EM-4 is a brown shade. The eye-shadow is a little difficult to pick up on brush or with fingers. It is medium pigmented. So you need to layer the eye-shadow. Also, without any base, blending this is not possible and it gives a muddy look. With base it is decent and needs a lot of work to show on the lids.

Above I have swiped the color multiple times, to show the actual color. As you can see in the pan, I tried to get the color out by scratching the surface of the shadow a little but the eye-shadow doesn't pick up easily.

This eye-shadow lasts for a 5-6 hours with a base. It can be used to contour as well since it is a matte brown shade. This shade in particular can be used as a transition shade, to fill in eyebrows, as well as to contour. So for that reason itself it is pretty good. If this was in some other shade, I wouldn't recommend this since it is a bit difficult to work with. But this shade in particular is versatile, hence I definitely recommend this one.
