Maybelline BB Cream in shade 01 Nude: Review and Swatch

My Review: The packaging is cute and convenient as all Maybelline products.The color I got is in shade Nude. The tube has a narrow nozzle for easy use. The consistency of this is quite liquidy but I found it a task to blend it properly. It required a lot of tugging which really put me off! I guess this would apply well on a moisturized face but then it defeats the purpose of an all-in-one cream. But that is its only limitation.

The color Nude is perfect for wheatish skin like mine and does have yellow undertones. It does give you a matte effect on application and brightens skin. I absolutely loved how it looked on my skin after a long tiring travel. I just got back from that tiring travel and went to watch a movies immediately after that. This cream covered my tired face and gave me a fresh look. It did feel light on my skin. I did notice white cast but nothing over the top.

All in all a wonderful BB cream from Maybelline. I recommend this to all those who don't have time for all the steps in makeup. 

I'll purchase the BB stick next time round which I have heard rave reviews about.

Pros:

• Gives Matte effect
• Brighten and freshens skin
• Feels light on the skin

Cons:

• Blending is a task
• Gives a white cast

My Rating: 4/5

Conclusion: A perfect BB cream from Maybelline which does what it claim. A shortcut to make-up for the busy girl on the go!
