Fabindia Skin Hydrating Cream for Oily Skin: Review

I came across this product on Samyukta's Youtube Channel in her favorites product.
I have a combination skin and was on a lookout for a light moisturizer which won't break me out. Lets see if this product fulfills what it claims.

What Fabindia claims: An extremely light, whipped cream loaded with age controlling cellular extracts and Vitamin E. It nourishes the skin and protects it against moisture loss.

Cost: INR 180

My Review:

Packaging: It comes in a container which fits well. It is quite unhygenic since I have to dip my fingers to get the product out but that's where the cons ends.

Texture:It is a very light weight cream and absorbs in few seconds. It has a light sweet and refreshing smell.

Working:It absorbs onto the skin and leave it pretty smooth.
It didn't break me out or give any oiliness to me. ( Read update below)

Overall, a wonderful everyday moisturizer for combination skin.

Pros:

• Light weight
• Affordable
• Easily available online and in stores

Cons:

• Packaging

Conclusion: A must have daily wear cream for oily/combination skin and that too at an affordable price. This is by far my favorite daily wear cream!

Update : I have stopped using this cream, as I discovered that this was causing my acne breakout. The ingredient Isopropyl Palmitate was the cause of this as it a highly comedogenic product. If you have sensitive acne prone skin, I do not recommend this. If you have normal to oily skin which never break out, them you might try this but at your own risk. I do not recommend this product.

Maybelline BB Cream in shade 01 Nude: Review and Swatch

My Review: The packaging is cute and convenient as all Maybelline products.The color I got is in shade Nude. The tube has a narrow nozzle for easy use. The consistency of this is quite liquidy but I found it a task to blend it properly. It required a lot of tugging which really put me off! I guess this would apply well on a moisturized face but then it defeats the purpose of an all-in-one cream. But that is its only limitation.

The color Nude is perfect for wheatish skin like mine and does have yellow undertones. It does give you a matte effect on application and brightens skin. I absolutely loved how it looked on my skin after a long tiring travel. I just got back from that tiring travel and went to watch a movies immediately after that. This cream covered my tired face and gave me a fresh look. It did feel light on my skin. I did notice white cast but nothing over the top.

All in all a wonderful BB cream from Maybelline. I recommend this to all those who don't have time for all the steps in makeup. 

I'll purchase the BB stick next time round which I have heard rave reviews about.

Pros:

• Shade suits me perfectly
• Has SPF 21/PA+++
• Gives Matte effect
• Brighten and freshens skin
• Feels light on the skin

Cons:

• Blending is a task
• Gives a white cast

My Rating: 4/5

Conclusion: A perfect BB cream from Maybelline which does what it claim. A shortcut to make-up for the busy girl on the go!
