My Review: This crayon comes with a colour coded packaging. The shade Viola is a mauve nude shade as described on their website. It is pigmented but needs to be built up twice for opaque coverage. The crayon takes a while to settle down to a matte finish.
The crayon is moisturizing enough not to need any lip prepping. But if you have chapped lips, do exfoliate.
I was a bit surprised by it's staying power. It did survive lunch and lasted on my lips for a good 6-7 hours.

Only thing is since it is a crayon, it needs sharpening. That leads to a lot of product wastage. I use a lip brush to apply when the crayon becomes blunt. It is not something I would carry while travelling. Crayon lipsticks are creamy and smooth and that is why they come in a chubby pencil packaging.
Sugar Cosmetics has come out with amazing shades like Viola and now newer shades like Smokey Violet which is so in-trend now. I love that they have such unique hard to find affordable shades rather than just variations of reds and pinks which most brands come out with.
