Vasu Kumkumadi Sugar Scrub : Review

With my search for Made In India brands in skincare, comes another brand Vasu which is cruelty free, vegan and paraben free. I tried their Sugar scrub containing Kumkumadi tailam and Vitamin E and here is my review.

Cost: 750 for 50 ml

Ingredients: Sucrose, Propylene Glycol. Kumkumadi Oil, Glycerin, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Black Sand, Tocopheryl Acetate, Phenoxyethanol, Triethylene glycol, Acrylates/ C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer, Caramel, Xanthan Gum, Parfum,BHT

Review: 

The scrub comes in a plastic container. It smells amazing with that hint of kumkumadi oil. I was a bit hesitant to use a physical scrub since I have acne-prone skin but I was pleasantly surprised after trying this. The scrub has sugar, vitamin E and kumkumadi oil. The packaging instructs to apply on a wet face.

 

On application, the scrub melts on the skin and feels very moisturizing. I applied this for the first time when my skin was very irritated and dull. Post application of the scrub, it felt so calm and refreshing. Instantly made my face glow. The sugar particles are tiny enough not to cause any friction or irritation.

 

I have been using this regularly for few weeks now and I do notice my skin smoother and glowy. Although the price point can be a bit expensive for some, if you are on a lookout for a luxurious scrub to indulge in, then I definitely recommend this scrub.

P.S: If you have active acne on your skin, please do a patch test before trying put any scrub as, it can irritate the skin.
