My review: I have used both the gel liners from Maybelline ; the new and old one in glass tub. These two differ in only
pigmentation. This new one is very pigmented and
photographs well in flash too. The packaging comes in a plastic tub which is
lightweight. It also comes with the handy eyebrush which is very precise for gel application. Although the tub is plastic, I still don't feel it is travel friendly since you always need to clean the brush and the brush can easily get lost in your bag.The quantity I felt was less in this tub. Coming to its texture, it
glides smoothly like a cream and dries fast unlike the older one. The staying power on my oily lids is
6hrs after which is fades. So definitely doesn't last 36 hrs! But on drier skin or in dry weather it may last longer.

I tried to line this gel eyeliner on my waterline but it faded in minutes!

Pros:
- Lightweight plastic packaging
- Good Pigmentation
- Brush provided for precise applicating
- Staying power is satisfactory
- Dries quickly
- Easily available
Cons:
- Not Travel friendly
- Little expensive
- Doesn't fulfil the 36hr claim!

Conclusion: If you really loved the old Maybelline Gel Eyeliner, you'll like this but I wouldn't purchase this again and would like to try other gel liners from other brands. If you are a beginner, I would recommend to try the Hyperliner from Maybelline which is far better. All in all, a good but not great product from Maybelline.
