Lotus Herbals Ecostay Butter Matte Lip Color in Rosetta - Review, Swatches

I bought a lot of makeup recently and have so many reviews lined up. But I have no time left to blog here. Instead of writing half-hearted posts regularly, I think writing a well put post once a week is much better.

I have always loved Lotus Herbals as a brand be it their sunscreen or my Holy Grail kajal. I bought this lipstick purely for review purpose but I am surprised by how much I love it.

My Review: This comes in a lovely silver packaging with the shade name at the bottom. Don't get alarmed by the shade of the lipstick in the tube, it comes out quite light on the lips. The shade Rosetta is bright rosy pink shade and looks as a stain on the lips. The shade will look good on all skin tones but might look a bit garish on deeper complexion if applied too heavily.

The lipstick takes a bit getting used to since the texture is a bit different. It is feathery in texture and you need well-moisturized lips for it to glide smoothly. The lipstick does transfer and feathers a bit. But I love the matte stain effect it gives to the lips. Overall, I love this lipstick for daily wear and there are a variety of shades to choose from.
