I am learning to do eye makeup now since it is something I am yet to master. I get so inspired by looking at all the eye makeup looks on Instagram that I just wanted to learn the basics of eyeshadow.
This palette was not something I had on my wishlist for a long time but I was looking for a palette which had shimmer shades.
Makeup revolution eye-shadows are really affordable and I Heart Makeup is a part of Makeup Revolution family, so I knew these must be good.

The shadows which I was really excited about when I saw them online were Crunch, Sweet and Cake.
Packaging: So in terms of the packaging I think we can all agree that this palette wins! How cool is the chocolate bar design on it! I got this palette when the big Nykaa sale was going on and since the packaging was so pretty, I literally didn't use it for 2 weeks straight. I just kept staring at the beautiful packaging and the amazing shades in them.

It comes with a good mirror and a double ended sponge tip applicator. (which cosmetics companies should now give us an eyeshadow brush or nothing at all! )
Pigmentation and Texture: The pigmentation of these is very good. I have the Makeup Revolution 32 eyeshadow Flawless Matte palette and the pigmentation of that is average. But the shades in this palette are of good pigmentation as compared to them.

These have a smooth texture and are easy to blend. The shimmer shades have minimal fallout and will show up better with wet brush or setting spray.
Shades:
The shades in this have a perfect mix of matte and shimmer shades. Various eye-makeup looks can be achieved with this palette. It has 7 shimmer shades and 9 matte shades. They so have a mild sweet smell.

I later learned that this is the exact dupe of Too Faced Semi-Sweet Chocolate Bar Palette. I don't own the Too Faced palette but the shades do look a lot similar online.
So let us start with the shades. I have swatched all the shades twice to make them appear more vivid in the pictures.

Delicious: It is matte cream coloured shade. Ideal to highlight the browbone and nicely pigmented.
Tempt: A matte black shade. Decent pigmentation.
Heavenly: A matte light pinky-cream shade. Of all the shades, this is the least pigmented.
Drizzle: A warm matte brown shades. Good pigmentation.
Enjoy: A matte ashy brown shade. Nicely pigmented.
2nd Row:
Choc: I matte dark brown shade
Cake: A pink shade with pink iridescent shimmers. The shade itself doesn't have any pigmentation but the shimmers are very distinct. Will look best on top of another pink shade or in a cut crease eyeshadow.

Perfect: A matte light ashy brown shade.
Crunch: The shade looks like a turquiose blue shade however in swatches and on application, it is more of a gum-metal blue. It gives a nice metallic finish to the eyes. Best applied wet for added intensity.
Sweet: A matte peach shade. Love this shade.
Fudge: A warm brown shimmer shade. Almost looks like a foiled eyeshadow.
3rd Row:
Salted: A cool tone brown shimmer shade. Very pigmented.
Candy: A light brown matte shade. This palette has 7 different types of brown shades with different finishes. And this shade is the last brown in the palette.

Caramel: A golded shimmer shade.
Spoon: Rose gold shimmer shade.
Yum! : Light gold shimmer shade.
All the shadows in the palette will suit Indian skin tones. I am so happy with this palette. At this price range, I get all the shadows I would need to create a night time as well as a daytime look.
Staying power: The shadows lasted on my eyes for the entire day. I used the shade Crunch and applied it with a wet brush for added intensity. However, as soon as it dried and set, it did transfer a bit to the upper crease of my lid but nothing too crazy.

I did this eye makeup look using this palette. I have used Sweet on the overall lids and Drizzle on the crease area. I used the shade Crunch all over the lids. But it was not as intense as I wanted. I went ahead and applied Crunch again with a wet flat eyeshadow and patted it on the lids. I put Tempt at the outer corner to finish the look. On my lower lash line, I have used Tempt and Drizzle to tie up the eye look
Is this palette the best palette? I don't know!
Is it worth what you are paying for? Definitely yes!
