Hello Pretties!!!
Today I am reviewing the Maybelline Lip Polish in Glam 6. After reading close to 50 reviews, I had narrowed my choice to Glam 2, Glam 6 and Glam 7. So after swatching these Lip Polishes at the Maybelline counter, I found that many of them were sheer for me. The only color to catch my attention was this gorgeous Glam 6!!! To confirm that I have made the right decision, I swatched it on my lips there itself and I asked my friends about their opinion. And we all agreed, that it indeed looked good! So I bought this!!

Packaging: Firstly, lets talk about the packaging! It is sleek and cute. It shows you how much product is left plus it is easy to spot the color because of it. The polish has leaf shaped applicator which does the job well. It is quite easy to carry around and is travel friendly.

Color: Glam 6 is a
berry color with hints of
purple.Just one swipe totally covers my pigmented lips and this color in particular is very pigmented. It instantly brightens up my face.
Texture: The texture of this is between a
baby oil and lip balm!! Go figure!! It is unlike anything I have! It feels very
moisturing and kind of evens out the fine lines on your lips! Gives you that pout. That's why I feel a little tingling feel on the lips as I apply this. The polish isn't sticky, or cakey or feathery!
Staying power: Glam 6 survived a heavy meal and Iced tea!It stayed on me for 4 hours with the meal. And it survied after the gloss weared off and left an
even tint on my lips. The stain wouldn't come off even with the baby oil. I washed my lips and could still see the stain!!!

Brownie points:This doesn't need any prepping to apply and is quite hassle free. Just apply a coat and you are good to go. Just remember to shake the tube and apply.

Pros:

Cons:
- Some of the shades I swatched were sheer which may not suit pigmented lips. So try them before buying

Conclusion: A product doing multiple jobs is a perfect thing for the woman on the go. Maybelline has come up with a great product this time. The price tag of 450 INR is justifiable. I highly recommend to try this shade in particular if you have pigmented and dry lips. And even if you don't have that problem, I am sure you would find a shade which will compliment you. I cant stop raving about this product. A must have product for any woman! This coming from a girl who isn't fond of lip glosses!
Glam 6 deliver what it claims.
